چکیده
Abstract: Tomato is a crop sensitive to water deficit and the responses of seeds germination under these conditions involve biochemical, physiological, molecular processes. The aim this study was evaluate physical, biochemical changes in tomato osmoprimed with selenium (Se) subjected during germination. LA 4050 3475 accessions were PEG 6000 solution (-1.0 MPa) plus Na2SeO4 (12.5 μM) or only for 24 h unprimed. from different treatments (-0.3 control (0 MPa). Image analyses performed (X-ray), physiological variables obtained by test activities SOD, CAT POX enzymes determined. Osmopriming, especially PEG, provided both higher densities gray mean when compared unprimed ones. Seeds showed lower performance enzymatic activity. Se did not induce seed resistance deficit. Osmopriming at -1.0 MPa an efficient technique improving quality susceptible tolerant Moreover, antioxidant enzyme proved be indicator oxidative stress tolerance seedlings

متن کاملGenetic Analysis of Response to Water Deficit Stress Based on Physiological Traits in Wheat
Dehydration is the most important limiting factor in agricultural production in arid and semi-arid regions, and water shortages (especially at the reproductive stages) due to lack of precipitation and unequal distribution are inappropriate for limiting the yield. In this research, cross between the Gasspard cultivar (dehydrated susceptible parent) and DN11 line (resistant parent) was performed....
